GaGee, as I and my siblings called her, is my grandmother. She was born in 1905 and passed away recently on October 16, 2000. She loved to be surrounded by all her family, and she had many, including great great grandchildren. I will say more here later and ad some more pictures. Obituary appeared in the Burlington newspaper The Hawk Eye on October 18, 2000
A correction was printed next day: "Margaret Bruhl, whose obituary appeared in Wednesday's paper, was preceded in death by a son, David Shirey; and two infant sons." The paper in Ft. Madison Iowa printed the same obituary, correctly.
