Much of my information on
the Sprouls came from a distant cousin who had already researched the family.
Joan Phillip's info saved me a lot of time, especially with the research of
the Sproul family prior to arrival in Missouri.

The Sproul/Poindexter Farm in Carroll County, Missouri
- Gravestone
of William C. Sproul, 1834 - 1903. The stone is in Trotter Cemetery in
Trotter Township, Carroll County, MO. Also in this cemetery are his wife and
many other related persons (Poindexter, Mason, Shirley, for example).
